State Farm and the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication at FSU Continue their Partnership to Support Students

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (October 20, 2020) – State Farm and the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication are continuing their partnership with the Quotes for Good program. This program will provide HMC with the opportunity to further educate and prepare their students in careers in Hispanic marketing communication through financial contribution from State Farm.

State Farm supports Hispanic organizations that empower their communities through programs that support educational development, workforce development, and leadership development. HMC is a first-of-its-kind organization that is devoted to educating students and professionals in the field of U.S. Hispanic marketing and advertising.

“The State Farm Quotes for Good program was created for local State Farm agents to help make a difference in their communities,” says Jose Soto, State Farm Corporate Responsibility Analyst. “This program is a great way for State Farm to help the Center educate students and professionals in the field of Hispanic Marketing. At the same time, State Farm agents can also provide customers with a comprehensive understanding of their insurance needs and coverage.”

Until December 4th, 2020, any new or existing State Farm customer can call or visit any of the 18 Tallahassee and surrounding area State Farm agents and request an auto, homeowners, or renter’s insurance quote and mention the Center for Hispanic Marketing. The local State Farm agent will donate $10.00 to HMC’s endowment fund for each household quote. The endowment provides funding to provide top-tier students with scholarships to study at FSU.

State Farm’s gift will enable HMC to assist more students in their goals of reaching the Hispanic community through marketing communication, regardless of their financial status. Students working with the Center are conducting groundbreaking research and serving as an innovative resource for the Hispanic marketing industry.
