The Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication is thrilled to announce the appointment of Alessandra Noli Peschiera as the new Associate Director of the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication. With Alessandra’s impressive background and expertise, we are excited to embark on a new chapter of excellence in Multicultural and Hispanic marketing.
A native of Panama City, Republic of Panama, Alessandra is completing her Communication Theory and Research doctoral degree. She is a proud two-time FSU graduate who pursued her undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Creative Writing with a minor in Psychology and then her master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication. After graduation, she returned to Panama and worked in the private sector and later in the Inter-American Development Bank, working on programs to improve the country’s sustainable development. She is excited to be back at FSU, furthering her education, and actively involved at the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication. Her research focuses on multicultural marketing and advertising, with an interest in analyzing the manifestation of feminist issues in the media through a cultural lens.
“I am so thankful to Eduardo Perez for providing the fellowship that made this opportunity possible. It is an honor to be appointed Associate Director for the Center, an organization that has grown incredibly under Dr. Sindy Chapa’s leadership and has helped many students in their academic and professional careers, including myself. I am excited to get to work and continue to develop the Center’s amazing programs that provide wonderful opportunities for all our students,” said Alessandra.
As the new Associate Director of the Center for Hispanic Marketing, Alessandra has articulated a clear vision for the center’s future. She is dedicated to advancing the study and practice of Multicultural /Hispanic marketing, fostering cross-cultural understanding within our institution and beyond. She aims to create immersive learning experiences for our students by facilitating internships, workshops, networking opportunities with industry leaders, collaborating on outreach programs, and creating partnerships that benefit our students and communities.
She is a natural thought leader who envisions our center as a hub for thought leadership in marketing and communication, hosting conferences, symposiums, and events that bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners.
We invite students, faculty, staff, and the broader community to join us in welcoming her back to engage with the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication as we embark on this exciting journey of growth and discovery. Together, we look forward to a future filled with academic excellence, innovation, and a commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding in our academic community and beyond.
