Art Schwartz Restrepo is a Master’s student in the Integrated Marketing Communication program at FSU. His emphasis is on Hispanic Marketing. Born in Miami, Art split his childhood years between South Florida and his mother’s native home of Cartagena, Colombia. While at UF, he interned at The White House, assisting the Associate Political Director for Hispanic Affairs.
Other highlights of his undergraduate experience include studying abroad in France at UF’s Paris Research Center and serving as Marketing Director for one of the area’s largest student apartment complexes. After graduating, Art spent over three years working in public relations at the U.S. Department of Justice. There, he assisted in Hispanic outreach.
Art is the Director of Community Outreach at the Center, a new division he has helped launch. The division oversees the Center’s efforts to help nonprofit organizations effectively reach and provide assistance to the Hispanic Community by developing targeted, integrated marketing communication campaigns tailored for the services each organization offers.
