TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— The Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication at Florida State University is hosting its annual Rooted in Purpose Gala on October 9, 2026 at the Florida State University Alumni Center in Tallahassee, Florida (Alumni Center, 1030 W Tennessee St, Tallahassee, FL 32304).
The Rooted in Purpose Gala is one of the Center’s most important fundraising events that brings together students, alumni, faculty, university leaders, industry professionals, corporate partners, and members of the Tallahassee community to celebrate the Center’s work and invest in the next generation of Hispanic marketing and multicultural marketing professionals. The Gala provides the opportunity for the community to connect while fundraising for students that rely on private funding.
The Gala will include performances from the Florida State School of Music and the Mariachi Osceola de FSU. There will be a silent auction that includes signed Florida State memorabilia and other prizes. The gala will also feature Gene Bryan who is a pioneer in the space for Hispanic marketing and Mexican artist Cristina Pineda who is the co-founder of the luxury fashion house Pinedo Covalin.
