Ed Gallegos has been a part of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSFL) for the past 16 years. Prior to occupying his current position, Mr. Gallegos was the Vice President of Claims Operations within the BCBSFL Service Organization. Before this role, he was the BCBSFL’s Vice President of H.R. Operations. Until Mr. Gallegos joined the Human Services Group, he held the position of Director of Operations for FEP and NASCO where he led both organizations to top rankings within the Blues system. Before joining BCBSFL, he held the position of Accounting and Finance Officer at the Regional Accounting and Disbursing Center, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Gallegos holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of North Florida. He is currently a Board Member of PACE Center for Girls, Jacksonville; Member of Leadership Jacksonville; Board Member on the First Coast Diversity Council; Former Board Member of Inroads, Jacksonville; Former Board Member Florida Sterling Council. His combination of proven results, strong business experience and excellent leadership has resulted in his most recent appointment as BCBSFL Vice President of Cultural Competence and Diversity.

Charles Garcia was recognized by Hispanic Business magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential Hispanics" in the United States and by Hispanic magazine in 2004 as "Entrepreneur of the Year" for leading one of the fastest growing businesses in the nation. Based on his commitment to improve educational opportunities for all children, Mr. Garcia was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to serve two terms on Florida's State Board of Education. He is a Board member of Winn Dixie Stores, Inc. and serves as Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Air Force Academy. Through his experience as a former White House Fellow, working for three Presidents, and advising leading businessmen (including former Goldman Sachs chairman John C. Geoff Godwin is the brand officer for Emerson Climate Technologies, and the marketing leader for White-Rodgers, a business of Emerson, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Emerson, a $20 billion company, is a global leader in bringing technology and engineering together to provide innovative solutions to customers through its network power, process management, industrial automation, climate technologies, and appliance and tools businesses. White-Rodgers manufactures thermostats, valves, and control solutions for air conditioning and heating equipment. As marketing leader for White-Rodgers, he is responsible for all communications, advertising, product development and market planning for the division. Mr. Godwin served as an officer of the United States Air Force for five years until 1991. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Dayton.

Juan Roberto Job serves as Hispanic Market Manager and Chief Recruiting Officer of the Cultural Markets for the New York Life Insurance Company. The University of Texas at El Paso recently recognized Juan Roberto as Distinguished Alumni and he is a past recipient of the BOSS Education Award bestowed by the Texas Council of Black Mayors.
Mark Lopez is one of the original members of the Terra Networks U.S. team that succeeded in launching the portal in 2000, and subsequently building and sustaining Terra.com in its dominant position among Spanish-speakers in the U.S. Until 2004, Mr. Lopez served as Chief Strategy Officer. He left Terra Networks in 2004 for AOL Latino where he became publisher and was responsible for U.S. Hispanic advertising revenue. Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Isaac Mizrahi joined Alma DDB in July 2009 as their Vice President, Managing Director. He oversees their clients' strategic marketing programs and leads new business initiatives for the agency. Before joining Alma DDB, he worked for five years with the Sprint-Nextel Corporation since July 2004 as their Director of Multicultural Marketing. His role at Sprint included exploring developing cultural relevant marketing strategies to U.S. Multicultural targets such as the Hispanic-Americans and the Asian-Americans segments. Mr. Mizrahi earned an award from Adweek’s “Marketing y Medios” Magazine as one of top 2006 Hispanic Marketers of the Year. As part of his current function, his team leads the development of in-language and in-culture programs across a diversity of areas such as advertising, media, direct mail, web, public relations, retail communication, measurement, pricing, content and customer management.
Mr. Mizrahi has previously held positions with BellSouth International, The Coca-Cola Company, and British American Tobacco, focused on areas like brand management, advertising, media, eMarketing, sponsorships and events, competitive intelligence and market analysis in Brazil, Latin America, the U.S. and Global projects. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Candido Mendes University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Claudia Puig is a recognized national broadcast executive with over twenty years of experience in the U.S. Hispanic media market. A Cuban native, she has established herself as one of Miami’s premier broadcast executives. Her work experience began with her initial advertising and sales position at the BellSouth Yellow Pages. At BellSouth, Ms. Puig achieved the highly selective Elite Club status, making her one of the Company’s top performers within its largest and most profitable division. Then she moved from print to broadcasting.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Puig was Vice President of Sales Network and then VP/General Manager of Spanish Broadcasting Systems in Miami. In 2003, she was selected as the “2003 General Manager of the Year” among all Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation’s GMs in the U.S. and as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Radio” by Radio Ink Magazine. Ms. Puig was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to serve as a member of Florida International University’s Board of Trustees. She also received a Presidential appointment to serves in the Corporation for Public Broadcasting where she now chairs the Audit and Finance Committee.
In 2007, Ms. Puig was appointed by the City of Miami Mayor, Manny Diaz, to the Arts and Entertainment Council. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Miami-Dade Community College and appointed as part of the Transition Committee for incoming Governor Charlie Crist. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Miami-Dade, the American Cancer Society, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Orange Bowl Committee and the Florida Association of Broadcasters.
Aldo Quevedo comes from Cuernavaca, Mexico, and his first advertising job was with Ogilvy. In 1996, he joined Dieste Harmel & Partners and since then has built one of the most creative Latino agencies in the country, which has won major international and US awards.
Mr. Quevedo has been recognized three times by LatinSpots magazine in Argentina as the Top U.S. Hispanic Creative, and by the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA) as Creative Director of the Year. He is also the first Mexican to win a Lion at Cannes. In 2004 he was inducted into the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Hall of Achievement.
Rudy Rodriguez is the Director of Multicultural Marketing at General Mills, leading the department to develop unique consumer insights to drive growth with multicultural consumers. Prior to joining General Mills, he worked for Unilever & Amoco in a variety of marketing roles where he was responsible for developing multicultural marketing campaigns, leading customer-marketing initiatives at Target, and leading global equity and innovation initiatives for the Dove deodorant business.
Mr. Rodriguez dedicates time to help champion education in the Latino Community by serving on the board of La Escuelita, a non-profit organization committed to increasing Latino youth academic success, and serves as a champion of diversity on the Streetlights board. Frank Ros began his career at the Coca-Cola Company in 1995 after having served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Decon Laboratories. Governor Roy Barnes appointed Mr. Ros to serve on the State’s Governor’s Education Reform Study Commission and the newly created Georgia Commission on Hispanic Affairs. Mr. Ros is also active in the National Hispanic Corporate Council, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Council of La Raza, among other Latino-focused organizations. He is also a member of the Regional Leadership Institute, the Leadership Georgia, and the Society of International Business Fellows.
Born in Barcelona, Spain, Mr. Ros currently lives in Kennesaw, Georgia with his wife, Jan, and sons, Frank VI and Bryce. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 and in 1984 received his Masters degree with honors. He was named Academic All-SEC and was selected Team Captain of the University of Georgia’s 1980 National Football Champions. He is a past recipient of the University of Georgia Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Post-Graduate Award.
Tony Suarez was responsible for all efforts from the the McDonalds Corporation focused towards ethnic consumer. Until June 2009, he was in charge of leading brand building initiatives, sales volume results and community efforts that target the Hispanic, African American, and Asian segments. Mr. Suarez also lead and influenced the advertising, marketing, and community efforts with these consumers.
Prior to his role at McDonalds, Mr. Suarez was the International Marketing Director responsible for growing Coca-Cola business in all of Latin America through the largest global customer for the Company: The McDonalds Corporation. He returned to the Coca-Cola Company after six years of absence, gaining experience by holding senior positions with The BCOM 3 agency network. He worked for both Clarion Marketing and Communications as well as for Bromley and Associates.
Mr. Suarez holds an undergraduate degree from California State University and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
