My name is Judith Ortega, and I grew up in a small town near Jacksonville, Florida. I am a proud first-generation student at Florida State University, where I’m majoring in Media Communication with minors in Hispanic Marketing and English. I am also working toward a Multicultural Marketing Communication certificate to deepen my understanding of diverse audiences.
Outside of academics and my work at the university, I enjoy exploring international media and listening to all kinds of music. I love playing guitar, crocheting, knitting, and learning new words in different languages. Friends and colleagues often describe me as someone who radiates positivity and always looks for the bright side of things. I carry a smile throughout my day, because every day is something to be grateful for and full of opportunities.
Spending time with my family and friends is also very important to me, whether it’s through simple gatherings or road trips that let us share new experiences together.
