Center Students Shine at AMTP Conference in Myrtle Beach!

In March 2025, students from the Center had the amazing opportunity to attend the AMTP Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This annual event brought together students, researchers, and professionals from across the country, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.

Our students didn’t just attend—they actively participated by presenting their own impressive research projects. It was a proud moment to see their hard work recognized on a national stage. Alongside presenting, we also had the chance to attend a variety of sessions, where we listened to peers and professionals share their research, insights, and innovative ideas. It was a valuable learning experience that sparked great conversations and future ideas.

Of course, the trip wasn’t all business. When we weren’t in our professional attire, we had a blast exploring Myrtle Beach’s tourist attractions and relaxing by the water. Spending time together outside of the academic setting made the experience even more memorable and helped strengthen our sense of community.

We’re incredibly proud of our students for the confidence, professionalism, and passion they showed throughout the conference. Opportunities like AMTP allow us to grow not just as researchers, but also as communicators—practicing public speaking, sharing our work with new audiences, and making meaningful connections with others in the field.

We’re already looking forward to next year!
