ALMMACR Hosts Conference about Latino Markets During the Pandemic
ALMMACR and The Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication is opening the conference to students and professionals interested in Hispanic markets.
Tallahassee, Fl., (Feb. 18, 2021) The Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication announced it will host a conference on Friday, Feb. 26 in partnership with the Association for Latino Media, Markets and Communication Research (ALMMACR). The conference will be virtual over Zoom from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This announcement comes after increased crises the Latinx community faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ALMMACR aims to educate students and professionals on how to effectively communicate with the Hispanic market. The panel will focus on Latinos, Media and Markets During the COVID-19 Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities. Latinx communities were particularly challenged with obstacles to overcome during the changes the pandemic posed.

This is the first time the conference will be hosted virtually. In the past, ALMMACR has hosted this biennial conference in person.

About the Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication The Center for Hispanic Marketing at Florida State University is a first-of-its-kind program devoted to educating students and professionals in the field of Hispanic Marketing. Founded over 15 years ago by Felipe and Betty Ann Korzenny, the Center serves as a resource to the Hispanic marketing industry.
