Jorge Ortega is managing partner of Newlink America, an advertising and public relations firm with a particular focus on the Hispanic market as well as the South Florida region. He started Newlink America with Eduardo del Rivero, the regarded Hispanic advertising professional. The firm is part of Newlink Group, the largest Latin American communications conglomerate. Prior to Newlink, Jorge was president of The Jeffrey Group, an independent integrated communications firm helping clients connect with Latin audiences and the stakeholders that influence them across the Americas. Today Jorge provides strategic counsel, creative direction and client service to clients in the private and public sector. His firm produces Newlink Conversations (www.newlink-america.com), a video blog featuring experts on the Hispanic market. Jorge also held various positions in the U.S. and Mexico during his 16 years with Burson-Marsteller. A leading communications practitioner, he brings more than 25 years of experience to the clients and organizations he serves. He is Founder and past chairman of the IKF Wonderfund affiliated with Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is married and has three daughters.
